Mini Grant application submission deadline is December 10, 2019.
This program is designed for smaller requests with quick turn-around for work in Georgetown, SC. All five of the Bunnelle Foundation’s focus areas are included.
Requests may be made for up to $5,000. Funding is available for special project support only. “Special projects” are defined as those which launch new activities or programs, provide training for staff or board, etc. Salary expenses are allowable in these special project proposals when a portion of staff time is spent working on the project.
- IRS tax status must be one of the following: IRS certified 501(c)(3) public charity, government entity, or house of worship. Not available to fiscal sponsors.
- Grant term is 6 months.
- Funding should be spent and a final report submitted 7 months after the Foundation’s check is received.
- Organizations may receive no more than one Mini Grant per 12-month period.
HOW TO APPLY
1. ELIGIBILITY QUIZ & APPLICATION
The first section of the application will help you determine your organization’s eligibility for the Mini Grant program. The application form allows you to explain your project and give detailed information about the organization.
2. EVALUATION & DECISION
Foundation staff will read and evaluate all applications and also make final funding decisions. Generally, you will know our decision within 2 weeks of your application.
Grant requests are accepted online through our Grant Portal.
