Support for projects that strengthen Georgetown County

The Bunnelle Youth Board Grant Program supports smaller, community-based projects that improve quality of life in Georgetown County. These grants are reviewed and awarded by Georgetown County high school students who bring youth perspective into funding decisions that directly affect their community.


🔷 How to Apply

Applying is a two-step process:

1. Eligibility Quiz + Application

Start with a short eligibility check to confirm your organization qualifies for Youth Board funding. From there, you’ll complete the full application through the Grant Portal, where you can share details about your project, your organization, and how the funding will be used.

2. Evaluation + Decision

The Bunnelle Youth Board reviews all applications and makes final funding decisions. You can typically expect to hear back within about 6 weeks of submitting your application.

🔷What We Fund

We fund special projects in Georgetown County that:

  • launch new activities or programs
  • expand existing work in a meaningful way
  • provide training or capacity-building for staff or boards

Salary expenses may be included when directly tied to work serving Georgetown County residents.


🔷 Grant Details

  • Up to $2,500 per project
  • Projects must serve Georgetown County
  • Grant term is 6 months
  • Final report due 7 months after funding is received
  • Organizations may receive one Youth Board grant per 12-month period

🔷 Who Can Apply

Generally, you will know their decision within 6 weeks of your application.
