Tell us about your job position and some of your typical work tasks.

I am the Executive Director and my job is to build Team Bunnelle into the community change agent that Georgetown County needs.

Favorite food:  Crayfish Etouffee

Favorite drink:  Lion’s Tail

How do you give back to the community?

I am active in my church where I lead the Flower Guild. We have hosted flower workshops open to the community. I do not serve on any Boards intentionally because, as the leader of the Bunnelle Foundation, I don’t want to appear to have favorites amongst the nonprofit organizations in the area. 

What’s your favorite thing about Georgetown County? 

The natural beauty that surrounds us is my favorite thing about living here. I love the ocean, the beach, the rivers, the Live Oaks, Brookgreen Gardens, and Huntington Beach State Park. I also love the small-town aspects of our community because connecting people is what I do best. 

Best advice you ever received? Surround yourself with positive people.

Tell us something you wish people knew about you:

• I really love my job—so much so that I cannot wait to get up in the morning and go to work. It’s challenging, important, and complex work that I feel privileged to get to do and I have a great team to work with me on “improving the quality of life for Georgetown County residents. 
• I think there’s almost always a song for every occasion.
• I am a cockeyed optimist—most of the time. 
• This summer we added identical twin granddaughters to our family which is amazing on many levels but the first level may be that I have always been fascinated by twins and now we have some in our very own family!!!!
• Needlepoint has been my pandemic therapy
